What's an OLCC Service Permit?

A service permit is a permit issued by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission to employees who sell or serve alcohol.

To sell or serve alcohol in the State of Oregon you are required to take an Alcohol Server Education Class and get an OLCC Permit.

These are 2 separate steps:.

  1. Take an Alcohol Server Education Course
  2. Get an OLCC Permit from the OLCC

Step 2: Create an Account through the OLCC's Online Portal in order to Submit A Service Permit Application and complete the Final Exam

Once you complete our Online OLCC Permit Course, Submit a Service Permit Application, and pass the Final Exam, the OLCC will issue your OLCC Permit and send it to you directly.

The OLCC may deny your Service Permit application for recent or multiple felonies, DUII convictions, or false statements on the application. If you have any questions, please call your local OLCC office.
