Hours and Days of Sale Regulated:
No person or any place of public business or any agent there for, shall give, trade, barter, exchange or sell in any manner any spirituous, vinous, malt liquor or malt beverages, including beer, ale, porter, and/or wine, on Sunday in the parish, except for medical purposes (and only then on prescription of a physician), and between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. on all other days of the week, and all public dance halls, where alcoholic beverages are kept, sold or stored, for sale at retail shall close their respective places of business at 12:00 midnight and shall remain closed until 6:00 a.m.
The sale, trade, barter, giving or exchange in any manner of beer, ale, porter, wine, whiskey and/or malt beverages or "liquors" on all election days in the parish is prohibited.
Noise, Litter, & Zoning
Ward 1--Sales Regulation:
The business of selling or dealing in or handling in any manner, other than as prescribed by a licensed physician as a medicine, alcoholic or intoxicating liquors within Ward 1 of the parish is prohibited.
Ward 2--Sales Regulation:
It shall be unlawful in Ward 2 of the parish, less and except all that portion of Ward 2 located within the incorporated Town of Rayville, which portion of Ward 2 is excluded herefrom, for any person to sell porter, beer, ale, fruit juices and wine containing more than 3.2% alcohol by weight and not more than 6% alcohol by volume.
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell within Ward 2 of the parish, less and except the incorporated Town of Rayville, alcoholic beverages containing more than 6% alcohol by volume for consumption on the premises in such Ward 2, less and except the portion of Ward 2 located within the incorporated Town of Rayville, which portion of Ward 2 is excluded herefrom.
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell within the territorial limits of Ward 2, less and except that portion of Ward 2 located within the incorporated Town of Rayville, alcoholic beverages containing more than 6% alcohol by volume by package only and not for consumption on the premises in Ward 2, less and except that portion of Ward 2 located within the incorporated Town of Rayville, which portion of Ward 2 is excluded herefrom.
It shall be unlawful for any person to have in possession for sale alcoholic beverages containing more than 6% alcohol by volume on the premises of such location within Ward 2, less and except that portion of Ward 2 located within the incorporated Town of Rayville, which portion of Ward 2 is excluded here from.
Ward 3--Sales Regulations:
The sale of alcoholic beverages containing more than 0.5% alcohol by volume is prohibited in Ward 3 of the parish.
Ward 4--Sales Regulations:
The business of producing, manufacturing, or selling porter, beer, ale, wine, vinous, spirituous, alcoholic or intoxicating liquors containing more than 0.5% alcohol by volume, otherwise than when prescribed by a licensed physician as a medicine is prohibited within Ward 4 of the parish.
Ward 5--Sales Regulations:
It shall be unlawful in Ward 5 of the parish, less and except that portion of Ward 5 located within the incorporated Town of Mangham, which portion of Ward 5 is excluded herefrom, for any person to sell porter, beer, ale, fruit juices and wine containing more than 3.2% alcohol by weight and not more than 6% alcohol by volume.
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell within Ward 5 of the parish, less and except the incorporated Town of Mangham, alcoholic beverages containing more than 6% alcohol by volume for consumption on the premises in such Ward 5, less and except the portion of Ward 5 located within the incorporated Town of Mangham, which portion of Ward 5 is excluded here from.

Ward 7--Sales Regulations:
The sale of alcoholic beverages containing more than 0.5% alcohol by volume is prohibited in Ward 7 of the parish.
Location Regulations:
No permit to sell alcoholic beverages in the unincorporated portion of the parish shall be granted for any premises situated within 500 feet or less distance of any building or property occupied exclusively as a church or synagogue, public library, public playground, or any school, except a school exclusively for business education conducted as a business college or business school. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of selling, distributing, dispensing, exchanging or habitually giving away alcoholic beverages in or on any location nearer than 500 feet of the closest church, synagogue, playground, public library or school within the unincorporated portion of the parish.
Possession of Weapons in Places Where Alcoholic Beverages Are Sold and Consumed:
It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession a firearm, or other instrumentality customarily used or intended for probable use as a dangerous weapon in any premises where alcoholic beverages are sold and consumed on the premises except the owner or lessee of the premises, or their employees, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, state police, city police, constables, town marshals, or persons vested with police power when in the actual discharge of their duties.

Hours of Sales - Sunday Sales - Location Regulations
Hours of Sales:
No retail dealer, nor his servant, agent or employee, shall sell, offer to sell, dispense or give away beverages of either low or high alcoholic content within the municipal limits of the town on weekends between the hours of 12:00 p.m. on Saturday night and 6:00 a.m. on the following Monday morning and on all other days between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following morning.
Location Regulations:
No permit shall be granted for any premises within the town situated within 300 feet or less of a public playground or of a building used exclusively as a church or synagogue, public library or school. Certain exceptions apply.
